Opening of Entries for Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa 2022
Steve Award Annual 3rd Program to honor Innovation in business sector across 17 countries in the Middle East and North Africa
Stevie Awards announced opening of nominations for Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa 2022, sponsored by RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The organizers announced that the link: http://MENA.StevieAwards.com offers access to the award programs and requirements, and submitting entries for any of the award 15 categories in the entry kit which contains all categories, entry mechanism and terms and conditions. Nominations will be received from 1st of October to 26th of January, 2022. The award nominees’ assessment shall be made according to the international criteria and as stated by the award in the two previous rounds. The Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa 2022, Gold, Silver and Bronze winners shall be announced on 24th of March, 2022, and they will be honored in a big ceremony to be held on the 20th of May, 2022 at Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Ras Al Khaimah.
The organizers revealed that this edition of the award shall include three new categories, the first is “Video”, which honors the innovations of video clips, and the assessment shall be made through design, production, distribution and interaction, while the second category is dedicated for social media, and the assessment will be made on innovation in developing, management and marketing through the different social media channels. The third is for “virtual events” which comes under the virtual and live events categories. The organizers added that the nominations shall be received and accepted in Arabic and English languages, and targets the individuals and companies including the private, public, the profit and non-profit entities, and are entitled to submit any number of entries for any categories.
The organizers added that the award targets nominations from 17 countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. The nomination for the award 2022 will be through the following categories: websites, applications, achievement, annual reports and other publications, company/ organization, corporate communication and public relations, COVID-19 response, customer service, human resource, live and virtual events, management, marketing, new product and product management, social media, technology and video. The organizers further noted that Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa is the only program that is specialized in honoring innovation in the business sector across the region.
Moreover, all the nominations shall be subject to arbitration, by over 150 experts and specialists from across the world to be selected for the judging panels and they work according to the global assessment standards. Mohamed Hassan Al Sabab, Director General, Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce commented: “Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry attracted the world’s attention by sponsoring Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa in the two previous rounds, and we continue to sponsor the award in its third round, in light of the Chamber’s interest in supporting innovation, creativity and excellence despite the challenge of the (Covid-19) pandemic. He noted that despite the fact that the entire world is experiencing the impacts of COVID-19, however, it did not dissuade candidates from 17 countries to submit entries and win gold, bronze and silver awards, confirming that nothing will impede the innovation, distinction and creation.
